Ovambo (Owambo, Ambo) The Ovambo is a group of a Bantu-speaking
people of the northern part of Namibia and Angola. They
are mixed farmers with many cattle and divided into several small kingdoms and chiefdoms.
Population in Namibia is approximately 600 000, which is the largest
ethnic group in this country. |
